Is this a hand-painted artwork or a print?

What does "gallery-wrapped" mean?
A gallery-wrapped canvas means the printed canvas fabric is stretched and pulled around all four sides of the wooden frame, rather than stopping at the edges. The artwork continues around the sides (called "printed edges"), giving the piece a clean, modern, frameless appearance.

How vibrant and sharp will the colours look in real life?

Will the colours fade over time?
Our artworks use fade-resistant, water-based HP Latex inks that are designed to retain their brilliance for years under normal indoor conditions. Prolonged direct sunlight (especially on south-facing walls with no UV glass) can accelerate fading on any printed artwork — so we recommend hanging pieces away from direct harsh sunlight.
Under normal indoor display conditions, you can expect long-lasting colour quality.
Is the artwork odour-free and safe for children's rooms?
Yes. We use water-based HP Latex inks that are odour-free and certified safe for indoor environments — including nurseries and children's rooms. The inks carry the UL GREENGUARD Gold certification, which is one of the most rigorous indoor air quality standards in the world.
There are no harsh chemical solvents used in our printing process.
Is the canvas water-resistant?
Yes, the canvas is water-resistant and can withstand light moisture. You can gently wipe it with a soft, slightly damp cloth if needed. However, we recommend:
- Avoiding direct contact with water, sprays, or liquids
- Never soaking or scrubbing the canvas surface
- Keeping the artwork away from excessive humidity or steam over extended periods
The artwork is designed for indoor use only.
Can I hang this in my bathroom or kitchen?
While our canvas prints are water-resistant and suitable for most indoor spaces, we do not recommend placing them in areas with prolonged exposure to steam, high humidity, or direct water splashes — such as directly above a stovetop, inside a shower enclosure, or on a wall that gets wet regularly.
A dry area of a bathroom (e.g., the wall opposite the shower) or an open kitchen wall away from cooking steam is generally fine.
Are your inks eco-friendly?

We offer four standard sizes for most artworks:

Which size should I choose for my wall?
Here's a simple rule of thumb to help you decide:
- Measure your wall width: The artwork should ideally cover 60–75% of the width of the furniture it sits above (sofa, bed, console table).
- Above a sofa (standard 3-seater ~84 inches wide): XL or XXL works beautifully.
- Above a bed (queen/king headboard ~60–76 inches wide): XL or XXL is recommended.
- Above a console table or sideboard: L or XL is usually ideal.
- Study nook, small bedroom wall, or shelf display: M size works perfectly.

Do you offer custom sizes outside your standard range?

Are your artworks available in landscape orientation too?
Most of our artworks are available in portrait orientation as standard. Some artworks — particularly landscapes, panoramic views, and certain abstract pieces — are available in landscape (horizontal) orientation by design.

How thick is the frame? Will it stick out visibly from the wall?
Our frames are 1 inch (approximately 2.5 cm) thick. This depth creates a subtle but elegant shadow gap between the artwork and your wall, which is a hallmark of the gallery-wrapped look. It gives the piece a premium, three-dimensional appearance rather than looking flat.
The sawtooth hanger on the reverse keeps the artwork close to the wall — so it won't protrude excessively.

Prepaid orders are also generally processed more quickly than COD orders.
Can I modify my order after placing it?
Orders can be modified — including size, artwork, or delivery address changes — only within 18 hours of placement, provided production has not yet begun. Please contact us immediately via WhatsApp at +91 78149 24807 if you need to make a change.
After 18 hours, the artwork enters production and changes cannot be accommodated.
Can I cancel my order?
Orders may be cancelled within 18 hours of placement only. After this window, the artwork enters production on a made-to-order basis, and cancellations cannot be accommodated — all payments made will be non-refundable.

Will I receive an order confirmation?
Yes. As soon as your order is placed and payment is confirmed, you will receive an order confirmation via email and/or SMS with your order details and a reference number. Please save this for future reference.

Is GST included in the price shown on the website?

How long does delivery take?
Here is our standard timeline after you place your order:
- Dispatched: Within 1–2 business days of order confirmation.
- Delivered: Within 7–14 business days of dispatch, depending on your location across India.
Metropolitan cities (Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, etc.) typically receive orders at the faster end of the timeline. Remote or tier-3 locations may take up to 14 days.
Do you offer free shipping?

Do you deliver across all of India?

How is the artwork packaged? Will it be safe during transit?
We take packaging extremely seriously. Every artwork is secured using triple-layer protective packaging specifically designed for framed canvas prints:
- Shrink wrap around the entire frame
- Bubble wrap around the entire frame
- Outer corrugated cardboard box with reinforcement
All orders also include In-Transit Damage Protection. In the unlikely event that your artwork is damaged during delivery, we will replace it at no cost to you — provided you share an unboxing video within 24 hours of delivery.
Will I get a tracking number for my order?
Yes. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking number and courier details via email, so you can monitor your delivery in real time.

Can I request express or urgent delivery?

What happens if nobody is home at the time of delivery?

Is the artwork ready to hang straight out of the box?
Yes — every Canvo.in artwork comes with a pre-installed sawtooth hanger on the reverse of the frame, making it completely ready to hang right out of the box. You don't need any additional framing, brackets, or assembly.
All you need is a 1-2 nails in your wall.
How do I hang the artwork on my wall?
Hanging your Canvo.in artwork is simple:
- Decide on the position and mark the spot lightly with a pencil.
- Drive a single nail or screw into the wall at that mark. Standard nails work on drywall and plaster walls. For concrete or tiled walls, use a wall plug and screw.
- Hang the artwork by placing the sawtooth hanger onto the nail.
- Adjust left and right for level positioning. Use a spirit level app on your phone for precision.
How much weight can the wall hanger support?
Our artworks are lightweight — even the largest XXL size (36×48 inches) typically weighs under 7–8 kg. The pre-installed sawtooth hanger is rated to handle this weight comfortably with a standard wall nail or screw.
For peace of mind with larger sizes, especially on tile, glass, or hollow partition walls, we recommend using two anchor points with appropriate wall plugs and screws.
At what height should I hang my artwork?
A widely used guideline is to hang artwork so that the centre of the piece is at eye level — approximately 57–60 inches (145–152 cm) from the floor. This is the standard used in most galleries and museums.
However, the most important rule is context:
- Above a sofa: Leave 6–12 inches of space between the top of the sofa and the bottom edge of the artwork.
- Above a bed headboard: Leave 4–8 inches of gap between the headboard and the bottom edge of the artwork.
- On a plain wall: Centre it at eye level for a balanced look.
Can the artwork be hung on tile or glass walls?
Yes, but standard nails will not work on tile or glass. For these surfaces, we recommend using:
- Heavy-duty adhesive picture strips (e.g. 3M Command Strips — large or extra-large rated for the weight)
- Tile drill bits with appropriate wall plugs and screws, if you're comfortable drilling into tile (Highly-Recommended)
High-quality adhesive strips are the safest option for glass surfaces and can hold artworks up to M or L size comfortably.
How do I clean my canvas artwork?
Cleaning your canvas artwork is easy and low-maintenance:
- Dust: Use a soft, dry microfibre cloth or a clean feather duster to gently wipe away dust. Do not press hard.
- Light marks or smudges: Very gently dab the area with a soft, slightly damp (not wet) cloth. Do not rub.
Never use:
- Chemical cleaners, sprays, or solvents
- Abrasive cloths or scrubbers
- Wet or dripping cloths
Can I clean the wooden frame?
Yes. The wooden frame can be wiped with a lightly damp cloth to remove dust or surface grime. Avoid soaking the wood or using chemical polishes, which can damage the finish over time.
My canvas has a small crease or wrinkle — is that normal?
Very minor surface texture variation can occasionally be visible on canvas, particularly at the edges where the fabric is stretched. This is inherent to the canvas material and is not considered a defect.
Each artwork is hand-stretched and quality-checked before dispatch to ensure there are no significant wrinkles or structural defects. If you receive an artwork with a visible, prominent wrinkle or crease that affects the artwork, please send us a photo via WhatsApp within 24 hours of receipt and we will assist you.
Should I place the artwork in direct sunlight?
We recommend avoiding prolonged direct sunlight on your artwork. While our inks are fade-resistant, no printed artwork — regardless of the ink quality — is immune to UV degradation over very long periods of direct sun exposure.
Placing the artwork on a wall that receives indirect natural light, or using window treatments to reduce direct UV exposure, will extend the life and vibrancy of your artwork considerably.
What is your return and refund policy?
As each artwork is specially crafted on a made-to-order basis, we are unable to accommodate requests for returns, refunds, or exchanges once an order has been processed or delivered. This includes:
- Change of mind after delivery
- Requests for a different size after production has begun
- Colour variation due to screen display differences
We strongly encourage customers to review size guides, product images, and customer photos carefully before placing an order, and to contact us with any questions before ordering.
What if my artwork arrives damaged?
All orders include In-Transit Damage Protection. If your artwork arrives damaged due to transit, here's what to do:
- Record an unboxing video as you open the parcel — this is essential for raising a damage claim.
- Share the unboxing video with us via WhatsApp at +91 78149 24807 or email at info.canvo.in@gmail.com within 24 hours of delivery.
- We will verify the damage and arrange a free replacement of the exact same product and size.
Why does a damage claim require an unboxing video?
An unboxing video is required because it confirms that the damage occurred during transit and not after delivery. This protects both you and us, and allows us to raise a claim with the courier company. Without video evidence recorded at the time of opening, it is not possible for us to determine the cause of damage and process a replacement fairly.
We recommend always recording a brief video while opening any delivered parcel — this is a good habit for any online purchase.
What if I ordered the wrong size?
Unfortunately, size changes cannot be accommodated after an order has been processed, as each artwork is made-to-order at your chosen size. If you realise you've ordered the wrong size, please contact us immediately via WhatsApp at +91 78149 24807 — if your order is still within the 18-hour cancellation window and production has not yet started, we may be able to cancel and reorder at the correct size.

The colour looks different from what I saw on screen — can I return it?
Colour variation between your screen and the printed artwork is a natural and expected occurrence with all printed products — it is caused by differences in screen brightness, colour calibration, display technology (LCD vs OLED vs AMOLED), and ambient lighting conditions at your end.
This is clearly communicated in our Colour Disclaimer on every product page. As a result, colour variation alone does not constitute a defect and is not eligible for a return or replacement.
